Application status and prospects of environmental friendly soybean inks
in the United States, soybean inks are widely used in newspaper printing. One important reason is that the U.S. government is to promote agricultural development, and the second is to respond to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's restrictions on VOC emissions. In recent years, with the increasing voice of environmental protection, soybean ink has attracted the attention of the industry and began to be used in packaging, catalogues, commercial printing and so on
environmental friendly soybean ink has been developed and applied for a long time. It has been applied on a large scale in the United States, Japan and other countries, but its application in China is still quite small. There are technical factors, and more importantly, it is due to lack of understanding. This paper introduces in detail the properties and types of this kind of ink, as well as its application status and prospects in printing. The raw material of soybean ink (savink or vegetableink) is vegetable oil such as salad oil, which has excellent fluidity and coloring, high transparency, bright colors, not easy to fade, low price and good printing effect. It meets the standard specifications of printing ink. Of course, the biggest feature is that it has very good environmental protection performance
characteristics and advantages
PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) contained in traditional ink components is a volatile solvent, which is harmful to human body; VOC (volatile organic compounds) contained in it will not only increase air pollution, but also cause harm to human body. At the same time, with the rising oil price and the depletion of reserves, we need to find a new environmentally friendly material to replace the traditional ink ingredients. Soybean ink came into being, which has the following characteristics and advantages:
good environmental protection performance
soybean oil contained in soybean ink is a safe substance, which replaces some petroleum solvents. The content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is low. When used, it reduces the emission of VOC, thereby reducing the harm to the environment, and is also conducive to the health of manufacturers and users. At the same time, the oil that traditional ink relies on is a non renewable resource, which is increasingly exhausted with use, the energy crisis continues to break out, the oil price continues to rise, and the oil manufacturing industry begins to aim at renewable plant resources. Soybean oil used in soybean ink comes from this kind of experimental machine. It is a kind of experimental machine with relatively good performance at present. It is natural, can be infinitely regenerated, and can be biodegradable. It has incomparable advantages over traditional ink in terms of resource utilization and environmental protection
good deinking and regeneration performance
waste paper printed with soybean ink is easy to deink and has less damage to paper fibers. This characteristic of soybean ink is conducive to the recycling of recycled paper industry
this characteristic has been confirmed by the research of westernmiehigan University, which is famous for its papermaking technology in the United States. Generally, more than 80% of newspaper paper adopts recycled paper. Taking advantage of the characteristics of soybean ink, waste paper has less waste during recycling, low recycling cost, and is highly competitive in the industry. The waste soybean ink residue after deinking is relatively easy to degrade, which is conducive to sewage treatment and control the quality of discharged water
strong abrasion resistance
according to the American Press Association, readers' hands are often stained with ink when reading newspapers. This is an opportunity to show the horizontal tensile testing machine produced by our company, because the ink on the substrate is easy to rub off after printing with traditional ink. But the protective ink of soybean oil concrete pressure testing machine can avoid this phenomenon
